The American Legion was chartered and incorporated by Congress in 1919 as a patriotic veterans organization devoted to mutual helpfulness. It is the nation’s largest wartime veterans service organization, committed to mentoring youth and sponsorship of wholesome programs in our communities, advocating patriotism and honor, promoting strong national security, and continued devotion to our fellow servicemembers and veterans

We would like to thank the folks in the community , either individually or through their various civic organizations who have supported our cause.
Since 2013, the post has been sending parcels to troops who have ties to our hometown. To date , we have sent over 1,600 parcels and we could not have done it without the support of the folks in the comunity.
